I develop flexible and user-friendly content management systems

A custom-designed forum template for the IP.Board (Invision Power Board) platform, created in 2015 as one of my first steps into the fields of web development and IT. This project was not commercial in nature and served solely as a learning experience and an experiment in customising forum systems.

About this project

The aim of this project was to understand how forum systems work and to master the basics of modifying the user interface within IP.Board. The focus was on customising the standard layout, styling elements and improving the forum’s visual structure.

The work involved:

  • modifying the existing IP.Board template
  • editing the HTML/CSS structure of forum components
  • visually redesigning the forum layout (header, list of topics, posts)
  • experimenting with user interface styling and visual consistency
  • basic integration of graphic elements (icons, backgrounds)

Technical implementation

The project was based on the IP.Board forum engine and utilised a template system and style sheets. Modifications were mainly made using HTML and CSS, without any advanced back-end programming or the creation of plugins.
